Welcome to my Resume page! This page will detail for you any relevant education and experience I have had thus far in my educational journey. I have detailed all experience working with children, either in a daycare setting or in a classroom setting, and have described the key components in my education that have further enhanced my knowledge in teaching.

Canton High School
I have been studying Elementary Education at Wayne State since my freshman year. This has involved taking many courses on teaching methods, techniques, courses on diversity, inclusivity, and taking methods courses paired with experience in K - 12 classrooms.
I graduated from Canton High School in 2019 with an Honors Medal for keeping my GPA above a 3.5 throughout school. I participated in many AP and Honors courses, as well as my Educational Foundations course. In this class, we observed and assisted with the on-campus preschool as well as learned about different techniques that teachers employed in their classrooms.

I have began interning at Detroit Prep since the beginning of the Winter 2023 semester for my Literacy Methods course. I am currently observing a first grade classroom where I am working on developing relationships with the students, working with them in groups on various literary and math activities, and watching how the teacher interacts with his classroom.
I have been working with Little Seeds since the Summer of 2022 as an Assistant Teacher in the Transitional Preschool. I interact with a wide range of children, ages 2.5 to 5, and am constantly working to make sure they are playing in a creative environment. My job requires me to employ classroom management techniques, reading aloud, helping young children understand and solve problems, and plenty of organizing and cleaning.

I spent 25+ hours shadowing a teacher in the Mt. Clemens school district. I would assist her 7th grade class with their work and would watch how she taught her high school Social Studies and Computer Apps courses.
